Distribution Driver

Summary

Under the general supervision of the warehouse manager, the driver/warehouse worker pulls orders and delivers them to schools. Also assists in receiving supply shipments, and in stocking warehouse.

Classified position is announced to "in-house" personnel. Applications must be submitted no later than Thursday, Septmeber 26, 2024

5.9 hours per day/257 days per year/Grade 9 $21.39 per hour (2024-2025 Support Salary Table)

[Promotions result in a 5% minimum increase]

GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of the warehouse manager, the driver/warehouse worker pulls orders and delivers them to schools. Also assists in receiving supply shipments, and in stocking warehouse.

Educational Requirements:

1. High school graduation or equivalent education and/or experience.

Knowledge & Ability:

1. Ability to operate bobtail truck.

2. Ability to operate forklift.

Job-Related Experience:

1. None required.

Licenses/Certification:

1. Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred, but will be required within 20 days after hire.
