District Sales Manager - Dyson

We are seeking a drivenFull Time Area Managerto spearhead regional sales success for our multinational client, Dyson. The Area Manager will be responsible for the daily oversight and development of a remote field team of Sales Advisors & Field Sales Coaches within a designated geographic territory. This role will ensure a standard of excellence in the regional execution of all training, sales performance, and relationship building initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer technology, a motivating drive for delivering quality sales interactions and results, and some experience managing a multi-unit sales team.

Duties:
  • Execute against sales program operations plan, mission, and key performance indicators
  • Manage sales performance and development of assigned representatives
  • Function as single point of contact for the client team within the assigned territory
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination with clients, team personnel, and management
  • Provide strategic written communication and project oversight for all details within ActionLink management systems
  • Communicate goals and results to Program Director on routine basis
  • Travel around 60% of time to conduct store visits within assigned territory, adhering to the guidelines of ActionLink's Travel and Expense Policies

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of sales related experience
  • Supervisory experience leading or training sales teams, ideally within a district territory or multi-unit retail environment
  • Must reside near central territory area
  • Must be willing and able to travel locally by vehicle and nationally by plane
  • Persuasive interpersonal ability to build and foster business relationships at multiple levels, from client interaction to field rep coaching
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work Wednesdays through Sundays
