Position Summary
The Department of Medicine at the University at Buffalo (UB), Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences ( JSMBS ), Division of Nephrology, is actively recruiting candidates to apply for the position of Division Chief of Nephrology.

As Division Chief of Nephrology of UB's Department of Medicine, he/she will:
  • Recruit and mentor academically outstanding faculty members
  • Grow multidisciplinary clinical programs
  • Oversee education of medical students, residents, and fellows in Nephrology
  • Expand research activities of the Division

Minimum Qualifications
  • MD, DO, MD/PhD, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
  • B/C Nephrology
  • Eligible for NY State license
  • A sustained record of academic accomplishment, including management experience within an academic medical center.
  • A funded research program in basic, translational, or clinical research
  • A national reputation for leadership in Nephrology.
