The Donor Services and Development Operations Analyst assists with functions related to managing donor services within the Development Operations and Donor Services unit serving as point of contact on procurement projects related to Development Operations and fundraising campaign efforts. Helps to ensure a positive donor experience, effective issue resolution, and capture of donor's feedback/issue in the appropriate CRM system(s). Responsible for correspondence and positive communications with donors. Remains up to date on relevant program updates and internal news; adheres to standardized scripts and language to ensure a consistent AARP voice when communicating with our constituents.

Responsibilities
- Provides support in the process of identification, cultivation, solicitation, and/or stewardship of the donors and prospective donors assigned within their respective donor/prospect pool or fundraising channel.
- Performs functions and processes that support the fundraising process (e.g., identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, systems/processing, stewardship) within their respective donor/prospect pool or function.
- Utilizes appropriate resources and processes to help ensure personal and departmental success in meeting departmental and personal objectives and goals.
- Performs processes and functions that support fundraising goals and expectations as needed.
- Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and board policies (e.g., gift acceptance) pertaining to gifts, contributions, grants and other charitable support raised.
- Adheres to ethical standards established by Association of Fundraising Professionals and National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED
- Experience with maintenance and upkeep in various donor databases
- Familiarity with MS 365
- Experience working across all levels of an organization
- Experience working in and with a CRM system
- Experience working with donor services
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree
- Non-profit industry knowledge
