Description/Job Summary
Door Shop Operations Manager will learn all aspects of manufacturing operations starting off working at our Dallas Door Shop location. You will become experienced in each phase of manufacturing, from learning how to operate the door machines, managing the flow of the operation and handling the office duties. You will gain the experience needed to be in a leadership role in one of our current or new facilities. Initial training will last 6-9 months, after your initial training you will be sent to shops across the country assisting in various roles with potential of getting promoted.

$45,000 base salary, plus monthly bonus once travel begins
Schedule
Will fall between 6am to 5pm, Mon-Fri. Additional work on Saturdays might be required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position requires the ability to lead and direct coworkers as well as temporary labor from an outside vendor.
Physical Demands
This position involves frequently standing, walking, use of hands, reaching, talking, listening and writing. Periodically lifts up to 75 pounds, stoops, crouches. Rarely sits, climb, balance and crawl.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work depends on hours of operations, 48 hours per week.
Travel
Limited travel is expected for this position during initial training period, followed by extensive travel to potentially any Door Shop in the company.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training. Must complete the Manager Trainee Program and have received the Merit Training Award. You must also have completed Lumber Camp at THQ.
Responsibilities
Learn all aspects of production, distribution, warehouse, shipping, installed services and related safety categories.
Learn all aspects sales and administrative related categories including inside sales, outside sales, order processing, system functions, pricing, all related accounting functions such as invoicing, etc
Learn all aspects of Equipment Safety, Preventative Maintenance and LEAN manufacturing
Qualifications

Word Processing and spreadsheet Software
Ability to read, analyze and interpret common financial reports
Learn to read Blueprints and create material list
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
