\r\nResponsibilities (included but not limited to):\r\n
    \r\n
  • Deliver rich content with a focus on building oral language and comprehension skills \r\n
  • Collaborate with grade-level and content teams to analyze data, plan for culminating projects and lessons, and differentiate instruction\r\n
  • Develop a strong classroom culture that is built on a foundation of respect, care, and high expectations, often within a co-teaching model\r\n
  • Create a safe, equitable, and inclusive learning environment while applying research-based curricula and social-emotional strategies to support the holistic child\r\n
  • Use formative and summative data to determine students' needs and create action plans for student success in collaboration with grade level and administrative team\r\n
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues\r\n
  • Attend key whole-school events (i.e., Back to School Nights and Family Conferences) \r\n
  • Participate in two-week training in the summer, and during the school year, participate in a year-long professional development series during early release days\r\n
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor\r\n

\r\nQualifications:\r\n
    \r\n
  • Uphold a passionate belief in CDCPS' mission, values, and educational model\r\n
  • Bachelor's Degree is required\r\n
  • Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Licensure in Early Childhood
  • Education K1-2nd Grade or Elementary Education 1- 6th Grade is preferred\r\n
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred\r\n
  • Ability to demonstrate skills in collaborative planning and problem-solving \r\n
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills\r\n
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, patience, and a sense of humor \r\n
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of and experience with the implementation of developmentally appropriate strategies\r\n
