Technology Risk (TR) mandate is to enable the Firm to manage its technology and data related risks through implementing proactive, comprehensive and consistent risk management practices across the Firm to protect the franchise while capturing business opportunities. The TR team partners with the business by ensuring that Technology and Data understands how to manage, escalate and monitor risk.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
Morgan Stanley is looking for an ambitious candidate to join their IT Request for Data (ITRFD) group. ITRFD is responsible for managing eDiscovery and Investigation requests that relate to litigation, compliance, and regulatory matters, as well as internal employee investigations.
ITRFD works closely with the Investigations group who help fulfill the eDiscovery requests and who conduct the forensic investigations. Data collections and investigation findings are provided to parties internal and external to the Firm. ITRFD ensures that these requests are adequately formed, tracked, and responded to in an efficient and accurate manner.
The role will focus on managing requests for data and will also include performing eDiscovery searches and data collections. Extensive interaction is required with colleagues both internal and external to IT including Legal, Corporate Security, Human Resources, Information Security, IT Security, Distributed Services, various Engineering teams, business and product management groups.

Skills Required:
- Detail Orientated and Analytical, Strong Organizational Skills, Strong
Communication Skills, Good Judgment and Integrity; Excellent client skill
- Experience in the areas of eDiscovery, litigation support, or IT Security
- Comfortable working with complex cases and large data collection
- Comfortable with handling confidential information
- Strong spoken and written English
- Experience using a ticketed workflow system
- Experience in a client facing role
- Ability to follow procedure
Skills Desired:
- Experience working in Regulatory, Compliance and/or Litigation groups ideally
within the Financial Industry
- Experience working internationally with peers / clients in different regions and time
zone
- Experience with email / messaging system

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $95,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
