The Georgia Center, located on campus across from Stegeman Coliseum, is the campus hub for the development and administration of non-credit professional and continuing education courses as well as home of the only on-campus hotel.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires technical knowledge in the field acquired through an apprenticeship, a 2-year degree, or professional certificate. Please contact your Human Resources office for an evaluation of education/experience in lieu of the required minimum qualifications.

Position Summary

The position serves as administrative support for programs sponsored at/by the Georgia Center for Education. Position is responsible for processing course registrations, and converting inquiries into enrollments; responsible for communicating with the general public specific program information; responsible for timely data entry, generating reports, and processing program expenses; assists students with proctored testing based on detailed knowledge of program policies and procedures; and provides high-level customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detailed orientated and able to multitask, problem solve, take initiative, work independently, and posses excellent customer service skills. Proficient data entry skills with Microsoft Office Suite, internet search skills, and the ability to learn and use a customized information management database. Ability to be flexible in a changing work environment.
