Schedule: PRN

Shift : PRN as needed with census. Call is required to be shared with Primary Tech

• Largest city near the center of the triangular area defined by the Interstate highways between Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, and Chattanooga, TN.

The value you'll bring to the team:

• Performs all diagnostic testing, including routine EEGs, Ambulatory EEGs, edits LTM and Ambulatory EEG studies for Neurologists.

• Performs Nerve Conduction Studies, assists Physicians with Electromyography at bedside.

• Assists with orientation of new Techs and annual re-evaluation competency testing for neuroscience staff.

• Acts as a Neuroscience specialist for staff for patient assessment & specialized diagnostic procedures.

• Provides educational counseling to patients, e.g., Epilepsy Management, Seizure precautions.

• Orders and maintains stock for the Neuroscience department.

• Maintains policies and procedures for the Neuroscience department.

• Ensures charges are completed correctly by all staff

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• Graduate of a Neurodiagnostic Program with a minimum of a High School Diploma.

• Five years experience in all areas of neurodiagnostic testing.

• Current BCLS; working to attain American Board of Registration as Electroencephalographic Technologist
