An Industrial Engineering company is looking for an Electrical Instrumentation and Controls Manager in Arvada, CO. As an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 3-5 engineers in designing, testing, and implementing control systems. You will also provide coaching, mentoring, and career development for your team members. Some of your main duties will include:
* Coordinating with Project Management to ensure timely execution of milestones and clear communication of priorities.
* Designing and integrating control systems that operate in hazardous environments and comply with area classification.
* Identifying and mitigating project risks and leading design reviews.
* Driving continuous improvement.
* Staying updated on new technology and providing technical direction/consultation to Application Engineering.
* Standardizing document formats for logic diagrams, control narratives, cause and effect, instrument loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel layout drawings, etc.
* Overseeing Factory Acceptance Testing of the control panel and resolving any issues or punch lists.
* Providing consultation to Field Service for start-up/commissioning and troubleshooting.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering, as well as excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills & Experience
B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering
10 years' experience in Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Engineering within a manufacturing environment, EPC, or energy company
5 years supervisory experience
Experience with PLC programming, redundancy, HMI configuration, communication networks, compliance with area classification
Familiarity with Compressor and Pump operation
Comfortable with travelling to domestic or international customer sites required on a limited basis. Includes kickoff meetings, design review meetings, HAZOP meetings
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Masters Degree
