The California Energy Bond Office (CEBO) provides the State of California with expertise in the electric utility regulatory sphere and capital markets, with a focus on energy related financing to support modernization to a sustainable power grid.
Under the direction of the Supervisor for the IOU Remittance Section within CEBO, the incumbent will assist in the management of the DWR Charge Fund (DCF) created by Assembly Bill (AB) 1054 and the Electric Power Fund (EPF) created by AB 1X. Responsibilities of this position include assisting in performing engineering and economic analysis for forecasting and tracking revenue from electricity retail sales, preparing monthly energy and financial operations reports to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), preparing regulatory filings, reviewing regulatory decisions and monitoring proceedings with the CPUC, calculating weekly and monthly payments to vendors, managing the issuance and debt service of bonds, if bonds are issued, and the preparation of engineering and economic reports, metrics and presentations.
