Electrical Engineer Responsibilities

• Design schematics, complete board layouts, and assemble, test, debug, and integrate designs into electromechanical systems.


• Collaborate in a team environment across engineering disciplines.


• Transform ambiguous requests and vendor reference designs into working custom solutions.


• Incubate new technologies into research prototypes.


• Work closely with various internal and external organizations to define and execute the long-term vision.


• Travel required. Domestic 10%. International 5%.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Digital System Design, or a related field and 36 months of work experience in an electrical engineering-related occupation. Requires 36 months of experience in each of the following:


• 1. Schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, or Altium


• 2. Standard electrical engineering tools such as oscilloscopes, high-speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and function generators


• 3. Mixed domain circuit design, low power design, filter design, operation/instrumentation amplifiers, ADC/DACs, power supply design, high-speed differential circuits, microcontrollers, microprocessors, and programmable logic-based development


• 4. Defining requirements, working independently, managing priorities, and cross-functional collaboration


• Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Digital System Design, or a related field and 60 months of work experience in an electrical engineering-related occupation


• Requires 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in each of the following:


• 4. Defining requirements, working independently, managing priorities, and cross-functional collaboration.
