Piper Companies is searching for an Electrical Engineer for a full time position at a well-known pharmaceutical company in the Greater Raleigh, NC region. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for serving as the subject matter expert and owner of the site electrical system. This is an on-site position in Clayton, NC (Monday to Friday).

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer:

• Serve as subject matter expert and owner of site electrical system
• Manage system distribution, maintenance and upgrades
• Conduct walkdowns in regard to electrical design and installation
• Create maintenance & training plans, electrical diagrams & other electrical system documentation

Qualifications of the Electrical Engineer:

• 5+ years of electrical engineer experience in a manufacturing, power or distribution environment
• Experience with electrical system design & power distribution systems
• In-depth knowledge of US Electrical Codes, Standards, Methods & Laws
• Experience with lower voltage systems, specifically 480v and below

Compensation of the Electrical Engineer:

• $130,000 - $150,000/year base salary depending on experience, plus annual bonus
