Job Description
Adhere to Safety and Environmental requirements.
Employ proper safety practices during maintenance, installation, modification and calibration on all equipment in the operating spaces.
Support system start-up and operational checkout on systems including configuration, wiring, calibration, and power testing.
Provide hardware and software application support assistance to engineers, maintenance and operations.
Provides significant contributions and technical leadership for major technology efforts in the organization, either as an individual or team member.
Utilize technical materials such as equipment manuals, system drawings, P&IDs, schematics and blue prints to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/control systems. Interpret industry, regulatory, and company specifications and standards.
Implement building & equipment installations and to improve manufacturing competitive performance.
Development of manufacturing equipment, processes, and procedures essential to line operations, extensions, product improvements, and new product development.
Perform more advanced troubleshooting, programming, and maintenance procedures on instrumentation & controls equipment
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, job plans and/or equipment manuals to perform work.
Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on process equipment and control elements to include: electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, temperature, pressure, level, flow, weight and weighing systems, wireless instrumentation, analytical devices, NIST Standards
Assist engineering with modification, installation and start-up of new and existing instrumentation, process control systems and equipment
Provide troubleshooting and repair of electrical supply and distribution up to 480v AC, variable frequency drives, servo drives and motors
Provide troubleshooting, repair of distributed control systems programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human machine interface (HMIs)
Provide detailed documentation of all calibration, troubleshooting, and repair activities.

Requirements:
Bachelorâs Degree, College Diploma, or Equivalent experience
2 years of production/operational work required
1 year of experience in batch, continuous, and discrete manufacturing; work experience related to packaging lines.
Able to work night shift.
AB PLCâs & HMIâs, Cognex and Keyence Vision systems experience
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Demonstrated Ability to Lead Cross Functional Teams
Batch, continuous, and discrete manufacturing.
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience.
