A client of Insight Global is looking for a Product Engineer that will act as the subject matter expert and design owner for AC Power Large, Medium Uninterruptible Power Supply and Power Switching and Distribution products deployed with the client's data center infrastructure. This position works closely and continuously with others from research & development, field service, technical writing, sales, operations, and manufacturing engineering to maximize customers' satisfaction with the clients' products and implement ongoing design changes.

Salary: $115,000 USD

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

* 3-5 Years of hands-on experience troubleshooting/root cause analysis of 3- Phase Power Systems

* Strong Experience with Power Switching and Distribution systems

* Prior experience in a customer facing role to support quoting/sales as well as handling issues with existing products

* Must be comfortable traveling 1-3 days domestically as well as internationally for customer site support every 4-6 months

* Ability to occasionally lift objects up to 40lbs to a height of 48 inches.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Knowledge of NEC or NFPA 855 is desirable but not required.

* Experience using 2-dimensional CAD is desirable but not required
