Electrical/Electronic Production Engineer---Full-Time Direct Hire

Akkodis, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer for a full-time direct and with a growing industry leader. The role is located in a southeast suburb between Cleveland and Akron. The Electrical/Electronic Production Engineer assists the Production Manager in devising efficient systems that integrate workers, machines, materials, information, and energy to make a product. Qualified candidates will have 1+ years of experience in Process or Production Engineering in an electronics or electrical manufacturing environment, along with an Bachelor degree.

Salary Range: $80-100K depending on level of experience

Production Engineer Job Responsibilities Include :

• Prepare machinery and equipment layouts, plan workflows, conduct statistical production studies, and analyze production costs.

• Understanding of radio frequency technology in order develop test plans, specify equipment and troubleshoot finished products.

• Product Support: Create and update product design specifications including part and assembly drawings and vendor documentations. Implement and maintain all part revisions in CAD and ERP databases.

• Requesting, maintaining, and updating product design specifications. Create and update product assembly instructions.

• Process Improvement: Design, develop and realize mechanical assembly, test fixtures, equipment implementation and production implementation. Work with production to identify and develop process improvements.

• Quality: Develop and implement First Article Inspection process for supplier parts critical to function. Identify supplier quality issues and drive corrections. Review and root cause product field failures and drive corrections to product design, parts or manufacturing process. Lead and drive a variety of projects supporting production, service or plant changes.

• RF Technology: Lead factory acceptance testing of RF metal detector products for internal finished goods testing and external customer requirements. Analyze product returned from customers and develop troubleshooting and PCB board level testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering or related field.

• 1+ years of experience in Process or Production Engineering in an electrical or electronic assembly related environment.

• Knowledge of RF Technology is a plus.
