Insight Global's client is looking for two Embedded Software Engineers to join their team in Roswell, GA. This person will be responsible for developing new electronic controls for the HVAC and Water heating system applications. He/she will be part of improving the current architecture strategy, work with systems and product engineers to support the products/services and identify and resolve any software or hardware system issues. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of C/C++ Software Engineering experience specifically within embedded systems.

o Extensive programming experience in assembly and C language
- Experience w/w various microcontrollers Renesas (preferred), Cypress, STMicro, etc.
- Knowledge on communications media and protocols with one of the following: wired, wireless, optic, CAN, BACNet, Modbus, TCP/IP, etc.
- Technical knowledge of product design and failure analysis
- Experience w/ designing, prototyping, and developing within the control system specifically PID Control
- Participate in formal design reviews of electronic controls requirements, schematics, layouts, software, as well as FMEA, DFM, DFT, and other related analyses.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Master's degree in Computer or Electrical engineering.
- HVAC / Water Heating industry experience
- Model based experience (MATlab tool set) , etc.
