Job Responsibility
- Assists in the development and implementation of surge capacity plans with local health and emergency agencies.
- Assists in developing and implementing training classes and drills in preparation for bioterrorism emergencies.
- Learns techniques and protocols for emergency response and mitigation; develops system-wide goals and standards for emergency response and mitigation.
- Collaborates and communicates with outside agencies as needed.
- Assists management in the development of policies and procedures, procurement and design of equipment and supplies necessary for training exercises.
- Prepares reports and maintains all documentation as required by the organization, quality management, etc.
- Monitors department activities, reviews policies and procedures and makes recommendations for improvements as necessary.
- Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

Job Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
