Insight Global is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join a healthcare client of ours in Berkley, CA. The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This role involves working closely with management and staff to promote a culture of mutual respect and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact for employees to address concerns, grievances, and workplace issues.
- Mediate disputes between employees and/or management to resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Ensure company policies are consistently applied and adhered to across the organization.
- Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints and allegations of misconduct.
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure company practices are compliant.
- Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases and outcomes.
- Promote initiatives that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Employee Relations role, or equivalent
- Strong familiarity with California laws and regulations, specifically within the workspace
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Experience working within a healthcare organization
- Master's Degree or any higher-level education
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
