A premier defense law firm that specializes in worker s compensation, employment, general liability, state audits and subrogation law is searching for a seasoned Employment Attorney to work remotely from anywhere in California! They are seeking a talented and dynamic professional with a deep understanding of employment law and a proven track record in litigation. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who is skilled at managing a diverse load of employment law cases from inception to completion. Salary Range: $190, 000 - $225, 000 / year DOE

Employment Attorney Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of employment law experience, including work with public entities
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited university
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Experience with school districts and defense cases preferred
• Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and client-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and meet billable hour requirements

Employment Attorney Responsibilities:

• Manage and handle cases from inception through trial with high standards of quality and efficiency
• Attend hearings, client meetings, and depositions
• Conduct discovery and review files in a completely paperless environment
• Collaborate with legal assistants and support staff to maintain case organization and meet deadlines
• Use systems including Dragon for dictation, Practice Master for case management, and Tabs 3 for integrated billing
