Position Information:
The Endpoint Security Specialist is responsible for ensuring the overall security of WakeMed's managed endpoints and consults on the development of standard images and reviews security controls for packaged applications. The specialist creates installs and actively monitors endpoint protections including anti-virus servers anti-virus clients Windows software Windows firewalls security patching/deployment and security policies while maintaining compliance with corporate policies and other regulatory requirements. The position reports to the Manager of Desktop & Client Services and actively coordinates efforts and works closely with the Information Security department to ensure corporate objectives are met.

Experience Requirements:
3 Years Information Technology - Information Services Required

Education Required:
Associate's Degree Information Technology Or Computer Science Or Related Field Required - And Bachelor's Degree Related Field Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional Or GIAC Penetration Tester Or GIAC Security Essentials Preferred

Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
