Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and design public improvement projects, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Provide technical information to contractors and the public regarding engineering projects.
• Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings to contribute valuable insights.
• Develop designs and specifications for capital construction projects, detailing required capacity, location, materials, and construction methods.
• Utilize pavement management software for inspections and prioritization of the 20-year paving schedule for township roads.
• Review construction permit applications for compliance with township ordinances and regulations.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of civil engineering experience, including capital construction projects.
• Knowledge of GIS or a willingness to learn with on-the-job training.
• Engineering in Training Certificate (EIT) is helpful.
• Experience with Military roads and roadways or related projects is accepted.
• Must be authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
