Job description
Primary Function:
Tasks will be exclusively on Civil Programs depending on the type of license. Please note that the actual internship content could be any combination of the below tasks, in alignment to the business needs at the time of internship.
Essential Functions:
• Assist in performing modeling or drafting activities such as CAD models and the associated 2D drawings, with focus on GD&T rules for new product development
• Participates in the production support activities: evaluate usability of parts, write work instructions, repair instructions, etc.
• Participates in failures investigations and RCCAs
• Assist the manufacturing engineer team in setting up new capabilities
• Assist in testing distribution Components for new product development or for troubleshooting
• Help troubleshooting production related issues such as tooling, test equipment
• Document critical processes such as winding, welding, etc
• Regular, predictable attendance is required.
• Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
• Student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree (or international equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, and/or other similar engineering degrees.
• Experience with CAD for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Microsoft Office Skills.
Work Environment:
Equal split between office work and working on the production floor with Programs, Design, Quality, Manufacturing.
