nsight Global is looking for Materials Engineering Technicians for a large engineering consulting firm in Charlotte, NC. They will communicate about the project and project requirements with the PM, other engineering technicians, and the client. Each they will meet with their manager, perform necessary responsibilities for the client; check-in with the PM with testing results; and contact dispatcher for another assignment or go home if work is complete. They will monitor fill placements, soil placements and complete appropriate laboratory data entry. At the end of each day, they will complete a digital report of their findings. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, maintain and clean equipment, and adhere to strict safety standard

* Valid driver's license (clean record)
* Able to pass drug and background check
* Good communication skills (will be client facing)

* Experience in the construction, masonry, carpentry, landscaping, electrician, etc. space.
* ACI/SCDOT/Earthwork Certifications
