Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Technician local to Minneapolis, MN for their second shift team. In this role, you will be working with one of our manufacturing clients in their liquid lab to perform a variety of different tasks including testing of methods, developing new technologies and products, and equipment calibration. This is physically, a hands-on role that requires strong attention to detail and desire to perform tasks using hand tools and a variety of elements, including oil. A basic understanding of computer skills and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel are required. A strong candidate would be eager to learn, take initiative and able to collaborate easily with others. There are openings for both first and second shifts, all onsite 5 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience
- Associates degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience as a technician or in a related field.
- Working knowledge of test equipment and test standards
- Proficient computer literacy skills (MS Office, Excel).
- Demonstrated mechanical/technical aptitude.
- Ability to determine good versus bad data and troubleshoot during testing.
- Ability to readily adapt to changing priorities and take direction from supervisors and team members.
- Ability to communicate concisely and accurately to individuals and small groups.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and completeness of data, reports, records, etc.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Associates, bachelor's or higher-level of education or degree
