This position is with the District Six Local Governments.

Why does the job exist?
Position will assist with overseeing Local and Federal Government funded projects to ensure design, construction and procurement requirements are met. Supervise and coordinate the database of T/LPA's (Tribal/Local Public Agencies) project design and project construction review.
How does it get done?
Position will provide support relating to State and Federally funded projects. This will be accomplished by providing assistance to issues relating to roadway project planning, design and construction. This position will supervise employees, audit change orders and ensure compliance.

Traveling public, District Employees, Public Entities and Tribal/Local Public Agency (T/LPA)
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Knowledge of federally funded Tribal/Local Public Agency (T/PLA) projects.
- Knowledge of Tribal/Local Public Agency (T/LPA) and project procedures.
- Microsoft Office.
- Supervision of Employees.
Minimum Qualification
High School Diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of relevant experience, six (6) months of which must be supervisory or senior level experience managing projects or assignments.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Employment requires successful completion of post offer pre-employment physical exam and is conditional pending results. Business/Personal Reference check and Driver's License verification are required and employment is conditional pending results.
Working Conditions
Work is performed in office/field in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, wind, rain, and snow. May include exposure to: ' Sunlight, dust, pollen, chemicals, rough/rugged terrain, insects and reptiles, noxious plants and infected trash; exposure to ' Moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, toxic fumes/chemicals and/or airborne particles, hazardous chemicals and/or asphalt and petroleum products; ' Highway speed/high volume traffic and loud noises; ' Falls and bruises, considerable physical strain; ' Heavy lifting; sitting/standing, bending, squatting, climbing, reaching, kneeling and crawling for extended periods of time may be required. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work may also include being performed in an office setting with exposure to visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage to include working with faxes, copiers and printers. May be required to work irregular hours or emergencies on short notice; willingness to accept change or geographical assignments; interaction with the public, local, county schools and city officials by phone and in person. Possibility of geographic location change.
