Summary:
We need a customer-oriented engineering professional. This individual will manage a team of two engineering technicians and one office assistant on the Development Services Team. Their primary responsibility will be to lead the pipeline extension project from conception to completion, transitioning it seamlessly to the construction team.
In addition to the pipeline extension project, the role also involves contributing to various smaller projects, including new facility installations.
This role is responsible for assisting the customers, vendors, and Marin Water engineering/construction teams for customer service and administrative
* Liaising with public officials to ensure code compliance
* Administrative support with plan review
* reviewing plans, applications, & submittals, interpreting code, preparing reports, creating presentations and presenting them, permitting
* Customer Service and Coordination with government officials/public utilities/vendors to ensure timely completion
* Managing contract lifecycle and submissions
* Reviewing Code to ensure compliance for engineering/construction teams
Issuing WOs, calculating fees, cost estimation

Required Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years of experience leading commercial or residential utility projects
- Experience with the following engineering principals:
* reviewing plans, applications, & submittals, interpreting code, preparing reports, creating presentations and presenting them, permitting
- Experience in the utility space
- Experience leading a team of engineers
Customer service experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Civil Engineering degree
- Experience with GIS
- SAP Systems experience
Water utility & distribution experience
