We are seeking an experienced, analytical and motivated Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to lead a team of Pharmacy Technicians in the Costa Mesa, CA office. In this fast - paced role, you would manage Pharmacy Technicians to ensure productivity and improve current processes. *** This position will have a 5 day work week either Monday - Friday, with a core 8 hour shift between the hours of 5:30 am - 6:00 pm OR Sunday - Thursday, between the hours of 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. ***

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing Pharmacy Technician staff productivity and quality
  • Managing projects as needed
  • Acting as the SME for processes and policies
  • Identifying potential issues that interfere with workflow
  • Determining and implementing process improvements
  • Identifying trends and ensuring fair workload distribution
  • Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to the team through feedback, performance management and development conversations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Current and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California
  • 2+ years of Pharmacy experience
  • 1+ years of Team Lead or Supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated basic analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel (creating reports/spreadsheets)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Supervisor experience within a pharmacy operation
  • Pharmacy Benefit Management and / or Managed Care experience
  • Knowledge and experience with IRIS (Oracle) production system
  • Proven solid communication skills & interpersonal skills

California Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
