Duties:
Role will require 1 weekend every week.

Possible Schedules are Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday.

100% onsite role 5 days in office per week in Salt Lake City.

In your role as a Linux Administrator you will be the Tier 1 / Tier 2 support of the Business systems in a 24x7 follow the sun model. This will entail alert management, OS troubleshooting and working to restore service in a robust Enterprise Environment.

• Monitoring of Linux/Unix systems
• Troubleshooting of systems
• Alert management
• Incident Management
• Working with clients across our Business Units to maintain and restore service
• Automation of activities through scripting and configuration management
• Working with Hardware teams to maintain the physical server estate
• Documentation of processes and procedures for the team

Skills:
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Red Hat Linux Administration
• Scripting experience in Shell, Bash, Perl and/or Python
• Virtualization experience in VMware
• Networking knowledge/skills
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise-grade server hardware such as HP and Dell rackmount servers
• Experience using remote management interfaces like Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, VMware vCenter/vSphere
• An automation-first mindset
• Incident management experience
• Prior experience in the Financial Service Industry is a plus
• Prior Enterprise experience is a plus
• Relevant certifications are a strong plus

Education:
Basic Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of Unix/Linux systems administration experience
• Strong core OS troubleshooting experience
• Bachelors Degree (U.S. or equivalent) in a Science or Engineering program or equivalent experience
