Job Title: Enterprise Architect - Customer Due Diligence & Financial Crimes

Duration: 24 Month contract (W2)

Location: New York, NY ; Iselin, NJ ; Charlotte, NC (Hybrid-Onsite Required)

We are seeking a talented Enterprise Architect to join our team and lead the architectural design and strategic direction of these critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architectural Design: Develop and document high-level architecture for customer due diligence and financial crimes applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Make strategic technical decisions regarding technology stacks, architectural patterns, and integration approaches.
  • Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and diagrams using Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other architects and stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and alignment.
  • Scalability & Resilience: Ensure architectural designs meet scalability, resilience, and other non-functional requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to broad architectural planning and direction, working with senior architects to structure code and integration strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10+ years in software development with significant experience in Java or .NET, including at least 2 years in an IT Architect role.
  • Expertise: Proven experience in designing complex systems related to customer due diligence, financial crimes, or risk management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Kafka
    • Microservices
    • SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB
    • Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred; AWS, GCP acceptable)
    • Data Management
    • Tanzu
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in architecture or cloud platforms are a plus.

Preferred:
  • Experience with financial crimes or risk management systems.
  • Cloud certification (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

Job Title: Engineering Lead - Customer Due Diligence & Financial Crimes

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-On Development: Actively participate in coding, debugging, and implementing solutions, while leading the engineering team.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a 6-7 person Agile team, ensuring effective delivery of code and adherence to Agile practices.
  • Design & Implementation: Apply strong design principles to develop and implement solutions based on architectural designs.
  • Code Quality: Ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance through best practices and automated testing.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.

  • Experience: 10+ years in software development with extensive experience in Java or .NET, including leadership experience in an engineering team.

    • CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
    • Build Tools (Maven, Gradle)

    • Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred; AWS, GCP acceptable)
    • Tanzu
  • Design Skills: Strong design and architectural skills with practical experience in developing scalable and resilient solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and collaborative abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

  • Experience with financial crimes or risk management systems.
