We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sr Network Reliability Engineer to join our Enterprise Networks team, dedicated to ensuring the reliability and performance of our global network infrastructure. This role is pivotal in maintaining the flawless operation of our enterprise networks, improving the overall reliability, visibility, and efficiency of our network services.

As a Network Reliability Engineer, you will collaborate with distributed team members to develop and implement innovative solutions for our Apple Engineering and Product teams. You will play a meaningful role in driving continuous improvement in our operational metrics and ensuring our network services meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.



Description
In this role you will optimize network performance by analyzing traffic patterns, capacity requirements as well as network utilization by applying monitoring tools and procedures to proactively identify performance issues.

Apply your expertise to identify and resolve network issues, contributing to improved service availability and reduced downtime.

Automate network provisioning, overarching, systematic problems and repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.

Conduct capacity planning assessments to anticipate future network growth and ensure adequate resources are available.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to network baseline and security.

Build and maintain detailed network documentation, including network diagrams, configuration files, and standard operating procedures.
