Job description

Infosys is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with expertise on RedHat OpenShift container Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, Azure cloud PAAS/IAAS technologies, Ansible, Puppet and Chef, bash scripting or python scripting or shell scripting for automation and building CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will be responsible to maintain availability of the client platform. Break/fix and identify operational improvements.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 11 years of nformation Technology experience.
• Candidate should have e nterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, Also good at architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
• Candidate should have hands on experience on s calable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration, microservice frameworks etc.
• Candidate should have hands on experience on DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Azure DevOps, GitHub)
• At least 7 years of relevant experience working on the below technologies:

• Cloud : Microsoft Azure
• Operating System : Windows Server, Windows 10/11. RedHat v8.x
• Directory Services : Active Directory, Azure Entra ID
• Tooling : Azure DevOps, CICD, Git, REST API, Web services
• Software processes: Agile, Scrum, Kanban
• Languages & Config Management : PowerShell, C#, Json, YAML, ARM Templates, Ansible
• Key Providers:
  • Azure Compute, Automation, API Management, KeyVault, Kubernetes, KDL, Logic, NetApp, Virtual Machine Image Galleries
  • Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB
  • Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana, Kusto
  • NSG, Vulnerability Assessment and remediation
  • Microsoft Azure backup.

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
