EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, agribusiness, or related field
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) to five (5) years of risk management and/or credit experience.
- Some experience in banking or agriculture lending is preferred.
FUNCTIONS:
- Gathers, tracks, and analyzes data specific to enterprise risks including development of dashboards and reporting as needed.
- Carries out multiple elements of the model risk management function including application analysis, validation activities, and reporting to model owners.
- Assists and compiles various financial analysis including budget data.
- Analyzes external commodity data in comparison to Association commodity data to identify risks or opportunities with reporting to management as needed.
- Contributes to the Association-wide stress testing of loan portfolio.
- Contributes to counter-party risk and concentration management programs.
- Customizes risk reporting and develop dashboards to monitor risk trends.
- Gathers, tracks, and analyzes data specific to the fraud risk framework.
- Assists with internal process improvements such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery.
- Maintains a trusted, collaborative relationship with organizational staff to promote an appropriate level of engagement in risk management activities.
- Assists with Association-wide projects as needed.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Should be adept at data collection, organization, and demonstrate initiative for identifying data sources.
- Familiarity with enterprise risk management concepts is preferred.
- Multi-tasking and project management skills is helpful.
- General knowledge of accounting systems and accounting concepts, along with specific knowledge of credit and risk management systems.
- Strong communication skills are necessary in a consistent and ongoing basis.
- Collaborative skills to work with others and integrate/communicate key concepts, results and findings are required.
