DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role, you will be responsible for operating various heavy construction and maintenance machinery across a diverse array of projects managed by the Bituminous District. Your duties will include the operation of dozers, front-end loaders, backhoes, tractor-trailer combinations, dump trucks with or without tag-along trailers, and pickup trucks to facilitate small abandoned mine reclamation initiatives.
Additionally, you will work with equipment near residential properties to install mine drainage systems and fill mine cave holes. You will also keep accurate records of equipment, supplies, and materials entering and exiting the garage storage facility, as well as maintain daily reports detailing equipment usage and operational hours.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Salary: Most selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as an Equipment Operator A; or
- Two years of experience in the operation of heavy construction and specialized maintenance equipment used at this level with a gross vehicle weight of 32,001 pounds or more: or
- Any equivalent combination of experience or training.
- Possession of a valid Class C Pennsylvania driver's license.
- This position requires possession of a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL).

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
