Volt is immediately hiring for Equipment Technicians in Wilmer, Texas.

As an Equipment Technician you will:

• Conduct regular and scheduled inspection of the production equipment in the factory to ensure that the equipment is in good condition and eliminate potential equipment failures.
• Electrical experience - able to troubleshoot electrical issues, be able to trace shorts in electrical equipment
• Mechanical experience - semi conductor, electronic manufacturing, etc
• Make daily operation records and maintenance records of the equipment system in a timely manner.
• Ability to detect, isolate, and identify irregularities and malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
• Assist with aligning machines and equipment during installation, using hoists, jacks, squares, ruler, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Follow work arrangement, timely repair the faulty equipment reported for repair, and ensure the maintenance quality.
• Maintain the equipment to prolong the longevity of service life and improve its utilization rate.

This is a full time, temp to hire opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Technical diploma or higher (electrical or mechanical), familiarity with solar modules or semiconductors combined with relevant work experience is preferred.
• At least 1-2 years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment (with photovoltaic industry preferred).
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills with electrical, mechanical, and automation components preferred.
• Good knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Ability to operate shop equipment, bench tools, hand tools, inspection and test equipment.
• Ability to use data analysis tools such as MS Excel and other applications.
• Dedicated and strive to achieve, hardworking and reliable, be able to adapt to shifts and work well under pressure.

Pay Rate: $22.00-33.00 per hour, DOE.
