An Insight Global client in the Houston area is looking for an ETL Developer to join the Datawarehouse team as a lead consultant. The main project this consultant will be assisting with is the migration from Data Stage to ODI. This person will be responsible for understanding and creating new ODI maps, understanding of modules, topology of ODI, etc. This person will responsible of understanding current jobs and spearheading new jobs and ideas. Additionally, this person needs to have strong SQL skills as well as a strong understanding of Oracle as it relates to databases. Lastly, this person will need strong developmental skills and will report directly to the Director of Auxiliary Services.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years of experience developing ETL jobs using ODI to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data warehouse

8+ years of experience performing performance tuning of the data warehouse, ETL jobs, and SQL queries to ensure optimal performance and scalability

Strong SQL analysis skills and experience in database tuning and optimization.

Implementing changes to existing Data Warehouse schema and ETL processes as needed

In depth understanding of ODI Topology and Knowledge Modules

Experience in Converting Datastage ETL Jobs to ODI Mappings

Experience in understanding Datastage jobs and ability to reverse engineer the functionality

Experience working with PeopleSoft HCM/FMS/CS as data source for the Data Warehouse
