Our client, a leader in corporate philanthropy, is seeking a dedicated Meetings and Events Coordinator. This is a fast-paced, mission-driven team that focuses on charitable giving and event coordination, with significant initiatives aimed at supporting impactful causes.

Job Description

As a Meetings and Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Giving team. You'll work closely with leadership to plan, execute, and improve charitable and philanthropic events. Your work will directly contribute to the organization's outreach, supporting charitable programs at the national and local levels. This role is ideal for someone passionate about making a difference and managing impactful events.



Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Giving Specialist to manage giving and volunteer programs.
  • Assist in coordinating event logistics, including meetings, charity events, and corporate gatherings.
  • Support the training and usage of philanthropic platforms to track donations and volunteer activities.
  • Educate and engage team members about ongoing charitable initiatives.
  • Manage event schedules, ensuring smooth coordination across various teams.
  • Represent the company at corporate charitable activities and volunteer events.
  • Assist in organizing internal corporate meetings, luncheons, and executive gatherings.

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of experience in corporate event planning, particularly with philanthropic and charitable events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and at least one CRM or event planning software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Benevity SaaS or similar corporate giving platforms.
  • Experience with local event coordination, with flexibility to work extra hours when needed.
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds and a "no task too small" attitude.
