Mountain Youth Academy (a UHS company) is seeking a Administrative Assistant to join our growing team!

Mountain Youth Academy is centrally located near Johnson City, TN, Boone, NC, and Abingdon, VA. We are a 120-bed residential treatment facility and assist in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health issues for our young adolescent students.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Assistant has primary accountability for providing administrative support to ensure efficient and effective delivery of programs and services to employees. The Human Resources Assistant will aide and facilitate the human resource processes in accordance with all facility, organizational, regulatory, federal, state, and local policies and procedures.

Qualifications
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources required.
Experience: Two (2) years' experience performing human resources and/or administrative support related duties in a health care setting preferred.
Additional Requirements : Must have excellent organizational skills, be detail oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain sensitivity to confidential matters, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite.
SERVICE STANDARDS/PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT FUNCTION:
• Promotes the philosophy, goals and objectives of the facility by becoming familiar with and complying with facility and departmental policies and procedures.
• Maintains licenses and certifications required for the position.
• Attends mandatory training annually to maintain competency.

- Prepares personnel files and maintain personnel records in accordance to facility and corporate personnel policies and guidelines
- Assist with the development and implementation of employee engagement programs and activities.
- Maintain patient uploads to HCS as needed.
