Why does the job exist?

The Executive Secretary & Administrative Assistant Advanced will:
  • Support the Community Benefit Program allocations team with mailing and processing to include scanning applications into the Medicaid eligibility system and tracking them through the eligibility process;
  • Process financial transactions in SHARE;
  • Provide general administrative support to both the Long-Term Services and Supports Bureau and the Exempt Programs and Services Bureau.


How does it get done?

The Executive Secretary & Administrative Assistant Advanced is responsible for:
  • Assisting with tracking and processing of Community Benefit Allocations;
  • Processing invoices in SHARE;
  • Routing and tracking documents for leadership approval;
  • Processing travel documents;
  • Processing incoming mail;
  • Ordering supplies;
  • Scheduling meetings and conference rooms.

  • Medicaid staff, Health Care Authority, and disabled and elderly New Mexicans.

    Minimum Qualification

    High School diploma or Equivalent and two (2) years work experience in office administration. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

    Working Conditions

    Computer use, long periods of sitting. Some travel may be required. May require overtime at times.
