We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Sr. Software Developer within our Enterprise Product Developmentgroup based in Houston, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

Sr. Full Stack Developer - Oil & Gas Applications

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sr. Full Stack Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java, .NET, Angular, SQL, and Azure native services. You will be responsible for creating responsive and user-friendly web interfaces, integrating with backend APIs, and ensuring high performance and security. You will also collaborate with other developers, testers, and project managers in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

What you need

  • Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of extensive IT experience spanning all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), encompassing Requirement Analysis, Design, Implementation, Code Review, Testing, and Integration.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically in production surveillance and reservoir management.
  • Knowledge of real-time data processing and decision support systems for offshore production environments.
  • Strong knowledge of web technologies and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, TypeScript, Bootstrap, Angular Material, etc.
  • Proficient in developing web-based and enterprise applications across diverse platforms, focusing on Object-Oriented programming and expertise in Java, .NET, and client-server technologies.
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing J2EE applications using Core Java, Java collections, JDBC, Servlets, JSP, XML, XSLT, and Java Beans.
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Dapper, LINQ, etc.
  • Adept at applying multiple design patterns, such as Factory Pattern, Singleton Design Pattern, and Prototype Design Pattern.
  • Proficient in authentication and authorization using Spring Security and OAuth2.
  • Experience in database design in Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server, with proficiency in database programming using JDBC and SQL.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, etc.
  • Experience with distributed architecture with Azure Service Bus, Queues, Topics, and Event Hub and AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and RDS
  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, with hands-on experience in Azure DevOps and AWS for hosting and deploying microservices.
  • Expertise in Azure, including building pipelines, orchestrating API flows, and implementing robust authentication and user rights management.
  • Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with AWS services like EC2, ECS, and Fargate for container orchestration and deployment.
  • Experience with creating observability dashboards using Application Insights data and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control and CI/CD tools.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools.
  • Sound knowledge of working with browser compatibility issues with browsers like IE, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges, ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies for innovative solutions.

Qualifications:
