Position Summary

As the main point of contact for both internal and external customers, the Extension Registration Customer Support Representative holds the key responsibility of addressing and managing customers' inquiries and requests regarding our event registration system currently known as Modern Campus. This entails leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the system along with basic technical troubleshooting skills. The role involves engaging with customers and stakeholders through various channels including in-person interactions, phone calls, emails, and virtual platforms to cater to users' needs concerning UGA Extension's registration system. Ensuring the utmost client satisfaction is paramount, achieved through swift and thorough resolution of customer concerns. Furthermore, as a representative of the University of Georgia, individuals in this role are expected to consistently uphold a positive and professional image of the institution.

  • Detail-oriented and able to multi-task, problem-solve, & take initiative.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient data entry skills with accuracy and speed.
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Teams.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML.

Function as a subject matter expert, offering training to staff and documenting procedures concerning the Extension registration system, also known as Modern Campus. Possess a deep comprehension of the interactions between registration systems and other pertinent UGA systems.
