Schedule is somewhat flexible, but must fall within the Building & Grounds schedule of 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Work hours will run 20-30 hours per week, limited to 1500 hours in 12 months.

BRCC is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to join our team and assist in the day to day operations of the department. Tasks include painting, patching, light carpentry, filter and light bulb changes, light plumbing, hanging pictures, and other duties as assigned. Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner. Collaborates with and assists other team members on tasks.
Special Assignments
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's/Required Qualifications
  • Some basic knowledge and experience related to general facility/residential maintenance, potentially in the areas of painting and/or plumbing, and/or carpentry
  • Ability to use related tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to complete work requests in a timely manner
  • Good communication, collaboration and customer service skills
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s License
Additional Considerations
Professional maintenance experience and/or related training; experience working in a higher education or facility environment.
