GDIT's Federal Health team is hiring a Federal Health Management Consultant to take initiative to plan, manage, and execute complex projects with minimal instruction, engage with colleagues and Federal Health sector leadership in a highly collaborative manner, and drive Delivery Excellence, Culture of Innovation, Mission Enablement, Client Satisfaction, and Organizational Sustainability across the Federal Health Sector.

As a member of the Federal Health Management Consulting Practice, Federal Health Management Consultant will need a strong background in project management and experience working with federal health agencies to design and execute organizational transformation and growth strategies in alignment with our core values: Growth Mindset, Thought Diversity, Unmatched Standards, and Client First.

The ideal candidate will have direct experience serving as a management consultant to Federal clients and senior leaders, with exceptional client service acumen and stakeholder management skills. This candidate should also have a demonstrated experience in supporting business development, capture strategy, and improving individual/organizational performance through effective change management.

Remote - May be required to attend in-person meetings at GDIT HQ or other Fed Health customer locations on an as needed basis(up to 10% travel).

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects within federal health agencies, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, and resources
  • Provide expert advice on best practices in federal health agency operations and translate them to RFP/RFI responses and/or white papers
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate and build trustworthy relationships with the Federal Health Leadership team, senior and C-suite leaders of client organization
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate project progress and outcomes.
  • Drives initiatives that foster culture of innovation and growth mindset that enable GDIT's organizational capabilities and build upon the foundation of the company's strategic imperatives and culture.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (required):
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting that requires different approaches to address complexity, scale, size and speed of projects/ tasks/ goals.
  • Strong skills in designing and documenting strategies, approaches, and processes.
  • Adept at establishing partnerships and building trusted relationships.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools such as Miro, Slack, Confluence.
WHAT WOULD BE EVEN BETTER (preferred):
  • Certified in PMP or ProSci Change Management.
  • A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Experience working in large federal consulting firms/

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
