HOW A FEDERAL HEALTH SR. PM WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Primary Job Duties:
- Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities
- Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of external company program(s).
- Directs all phases of program(s) from inception through completion.
- Organizes interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the program on schedule and within budget constraints.
- Serves as the primary contact for the customer on matters pertaining to the program.
- Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation
- Supervises assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation
- Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned program(s)
- Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits
- Performs business development activities at all stages, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals
- Performs program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement
- Coordinates and monitors sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances
- Develops, reviews, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents
- Prepares and provides various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested
- Ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards
SCOPE OF ROLE:
- Manages one or more large teams. High Complexity. Direct reports are typically exempt and include other people managers.
REVENUE RESPONSIBILITY:
- Responsible for programs(s) with annual revenues of $25 million and above.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Certification(s): PMP is required
- Required Experience: 10+ years of related Program and Technical Management experience
- Previous Federal Health / HHS) experience is required
- Required Technical Skills: COTS Implementation and Business Intelligence System Experience
- Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
- Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
