US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation System eXtended (US BICES-X) is a cutting-edge program supporting DoD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations. With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the US BICES-X team is in direct support of the war fighter and their missions. We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real world issues on a cross-functional, fast paced team. You will be part of a dynamic team that is delivering a business-driven Enterprise Network to support BICES Global Enterprise Mission Support Services increasing performance, security, scalability, and stability while reducing costs and complexity resulting in increased supportability.

As the Lead of Field Service Management Team, you are required to provide technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks for this team including site installation, site expansion and desktop support. At this level, the position is typically responsible for managing multiple tasks or a single large project and supervising up to 25 employees - both exempt and non-exempt and may include one or more subordinate supervisors. Technical difficulty/complexity of assigned tasks/projects may also affect level selection.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors.
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • Manage and assign resources in the resource pool to fulfill the required projects/tasks.
  • May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
  • Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interacts with customers for new requirements, responding to RFIs, reporting, etc.
  • Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of related experience, including supervisory experience required.
  • BA/BS Degree - May substitute additional years of experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire.
  • Experience in customer service.
  • Experience in processes and procedures implementation, enforcement, and improvement.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience with resource management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing and leading cross functional teams in global locations.
  • Demonstrable administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Technical experience or knowledge in site/office space survey, network equipment and workstations.
  • Technical experience or knowledge in site installation and expansion.
  • Professional certification (PMP).
The likely salary range for this position is $122,366 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
