Insight Global is seeking a Field Support Technician for one of our clients who is in the education management industry. Our client is a growing leader in the education space, operating schools and educational programs around the world that span the life of a student from early learning to higher education. We need someone who has reliable transportation and is comfortable working onsite 5 days a week in the Cleveland, OH area. This will be a direct hire opportunity and require travel to multiple different schools per week.

As a Field Support Technician, you will be supporting multiple schools ranging from early learning academies to high schools in the greater Cleveland area. In this role you will be required to schedule visits with each of the schools that are assigned to you weekly. You will then pull tickets for the school you will be going to, so you are prepared to work on them when you get to that school. You will also be the point of contact for anything technical in each of your schools, so providing white glove customer service to teachers, students and faculty is at the forefront of your day to day.

The support tickets will include, troubleshooting and maintaining smartboards, electronic whiteboards, projectors, printers, etc. We are looking for someone who has experience providing technical support and is comfortable working in a school setting. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting and maintaining Chromebooks and other technologies found in a school setting, but our client is open to teaching those technologies to the right person.

Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in IT Support
- Reliable transportation and Drivers license
- Strong emotional intelligence and communication
- White glove customer service skills
- Chromebook troubleshooting experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a school environment
- Technical support experience with Electronic White Boards, Smartboards, projectors, etc.
