Our distribution client is looking for a Finance Analyst to work with different teams/departments as it relates to financial planning, reporting, and analysis. They will provide data management support through reporting of sales volume, profitability, pricing/program effectiveness, market penetration, and account management. This candidate will work closely with the Commercial Finance team to participate in meetings with Sales Management, Marketing, Pricing and suppliers. They will help the company achieve profitability goals and assist with pricing of new items. The hourly range for this person is $18-21.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 years of financial analysis experience in a corporate environment; or equivalent 4-5 years of professional experience
• Background in creating monthly financial recaps, fiscal year-end projections, and gross profit and expense analysis
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to build P&L statements, identify overspend risks/ opportunities, and ensure budget planning adherence
• Experience in reconciling records to supplier records and helping with pricing
• Detail-oriented and strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of MS Office Suite

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Consumer goods industry experience and experience in a sales and distribution organization involving multiple SKUs
