• About This Opportunity


The Finance Cost Support Supervisor will lead a QA team and collaborate closely with both internal and external departments to ensure comprehensive capture of all funding across each 7-Eleven banner. This role includes responsibilities for reporting, investigating, data processing, and forecasting all financial information related to promotions and cost support. Additionally, the Supervisor will be expected to evaluate and enhance current processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Conducting meetings with Merchandising stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Monitor all funding activities across the 7-Eleven banners to identify trends and anomalies.
  • Review and take ownership of funding deal sheet documents, including the collection of funds outside the normal cost support cadence.
  • Work closely with the FP&A and IT reporting teams, providing mid-month and end-of-month analysis of cost support activity.
  • Ensure accuracy of cost support across all banners.
  • Implements processes to mitigate financial impacts that may become material.
  • Report on cost support activities to Merchandise and Accounting stakeholders.


Education/Experience:
  • Minimum 4 years in a finance or merchandising related role and 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Bachelors/4-year degree

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Moderate understanding of SQL for querying Oracle-type databases
  • Willingness to challenge existing processes and implement beneficial improvements.
  • Ability to lead meetings with key stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Skilled in performing effective financial forecasting.
  • Strong organizational skills including cross functional trackers.
  • Creating strong relationships via networking.
  • Passion for automation is a plus.
