Job Description

The Finance Lead will be responsible for supporting all aspects of financial planning and analysis for the MABI (Market Analytics and Business Insights) and Advertising & Communications teams under Therapeutic Analytics & Operations (TA&O). This position reports to the Finance Manager and will ensure high standards of business support to functional partners. This individual will collaborate with many cross-functional partners to ensure accurate and timely forecasts, actualization of spend, and work with Brand and Advertising finance colleagues to prepare quarterly charge outs.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for tracking and analyzing monthly actuals compared against Plan/LBE to highlight risks and opportunities in close collaboration with business partners.
  • Performs month-end close activities for MABI and Adv & Comm budgets. Monitor budget, identify and report variances monthly. Assist in preparing LBEs, Plan, and LRP for all Outside Services and Personnel expenses for these center functions.
  • Coordinates charge out process of quarterly data purchases, other analytics related spend, and advertisement activity from MABI and Adv & Comm to Brand P&Ls working diligently with cross-functional partners to ensure accuracy
  • Builds relationships with business partners to ensure accurate understanding of business needs.
  • Coordinates planning processes to capture headcount, outside services and personnel spend while collaborating with Finance Manager on financial targets.
  • Reconciles FTE headcount among groups to ensure accuracy of team structures
  • Populates and updates the system (BPC) for LBE forecast and Planning submission loads with appropriate financial information.
  • Ensures tools for planning for TA&O are fit for purpose and templates are available on time for the submission of the assigned groups. Collaborate with DHQ finance teams to ensure that the templates and the tools are effective and easy to use.
  • Executes process and system improvements as per TA&O priorities


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient excel skills, experience with BPC, PowerBI and SAP preferred; system affinity and ability to work efficiently with data.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Analytical skills, curiosity, willingness to learn
  • Advanced technical skills, knowledge of systems such as PowerBI, BPC
  • Knowledge of the financial planning process
