Job Description

Marshall Health Network is seeking a full-time Financial Analyst position with our MHN Contract Management Department.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for Preparation of various internal reports compiling and analyzing actual and budgeted financial and statistical information for CHH and MHN; preparation of consolidated MHN financial statements, memorandum, and presentation for monthly board meetings; preparation and submission of data for various 3rd party filings on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for CHH and MHN (including B9, Vizient ODB, DAC, AHA Survey, CHA Membership); maintaining budget and reporting software for CHH, MHN, and RH; assisting department leaders in budget preparation; setting targets and assisting department leaders with productivity application; and assisting the CFO, Finance department, and department leaders where necessary.

Marshall Health Network System Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a high level of transparency with co-workers.
  • Provides training support to staff regarding their financial operation.
  • Adjust well to change and new direction.
  • Reviews reports and analysis for accuracy before distribution.
  • Uses peer review when appropriate to validate analysis.
  • Clarifies request for information from requestors to prevent re-work.

  • Demonstrates a focus on establishing processes and controls to provide consistency and standardization.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, hospital administration, or other applicable degree.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years working with healthcare finance
